Adolescents experience many changes as they transition from childhood into young adulthood. Every adolescent responds differently to change. Bullying, substance-abuse, gangs and social media are just some of the many pressures that adolescents face. Some adolescents might not be able to cope successfully with the changes and challenges at this stage. Early intervention can help prevent minor issues from turning into larger problems.

Has your child become withdrawn? Have they started engaging in risky behavior?  Is your child struggling with the pressures of school? There are many reasons why adolescents might need counseling. Certain problems require professional counseling and intervention.

In Adolescent Therapy, we create a safe and non-judgmental space for adolescents to express their feelings and thoughts. They can learn how to resolve conflict, understand problems, and try out new solutions and coping skills.
